The story of the Elephant moneyboxes began in 1973 with the launch of the small Medi Elephant, followed by the introduction of its big brother, Maxi Elephant, in 1975. The over 50-year-long success story now continues with Semi Fantti, which combines tradition, practicality, and timeless design. Originally designed for use by banks, the Elephant moneybox has also won the hearts of interior enthusiasts and has since established a strong presence in international markets.
All Elephant moneyboxes are responsibly and sustainably manufactured at Plastep Oy’s factory in Kuortti, Finland, and have been awarded the esteemed Key Flag symbol. The production uses food-safe, BPA-free material, and the piggy banks are recyclable as energy waste. Each moneybox comes with a key.
