Made from a blend of cork and rubber, the AT-SMCR2 slipmat absorbs a wider range of vibrations, especially lower frequencies, than standard cork slipmats, helping to deliver clearer audio playback from your records. The rubber also adds mass to the mat, creating a very stable platform that can improve tracking and prevent minor skips or jumps. Plus, the cork-rubber blend has excellent antistatic properties, so you’ll hear fewer of those annoying pops and clicks that result from static discharge.
